I promised myself I was not going to post today because of this gain but decided to be true to the cause. I am getting frustrated with the regressive nature of the past few days as I cannot get into the teens. It seems like I am stair stepping for no good reason. I have not added anything into the protocol or done anything that would prompt a stall. I guess it is one that requires and apple day which will be done tomorrow simply because I didn't take the shot today.
Thanks to you all for support in this and I hope things will be on track tomorrow.

Another one bites the dust...I am just longing for the teens and hope to get there by Wednesday, if not sooner. I got a lot of compliments and urgings to not lose more weight but only I know where I want to be so I say thanks and keep forging ahead. It would be ideal for me to have all the abnormal fat removed by the end of this round but don't know if that is going to happen. I may have to day a 23 shot round after my P3. We will see. though as it is a little early to worry about that.
Biz - I did not exercising and that may have corrected the issue. This is the first plan I have been on where exercise causes a negative affect.
B - Thanks for the kudos.
Marshall - I shot you an email this morning. I hope it helps. Hang in there.

Well I made it into the black today. I am just happy to see a loss and hope it continues. I did eat a regular size apple and a handful of strawberries yesterday. Not sure if that would have caused a correction but will see what happens tomorrow as I follow the same trend.

Congratulations to all of you LOSERS out there. Keep up the good work and I hope to be out of the red weight tomorrow.

It's deja vu all over again. lol. The same loss as yesterday. I wish I could keep this as my minimal loss on a daily basis. Its amazing how greedy we get when things are moving along.
I have been so full this morning and I have not done anything different. I am drinking the same amount of water and tea as every morning. I did make sure I ate my apple at 10:30 to keep things consistent. I try to do everything at the exact same time each day. For instance tea and water by 9:30, apple 10:30, lunch 12:30, dinner 7:00 and snack at 8. Not sure if it matters but it does make it easier.
I bought these huge organic golden delicious apples yesterday and had one last night for snack and this morning for breakfast. I hope I am not causing any sabotage by eating this large fruit. I think I read the size of the apple doesn't matter (lol) but you cant eat 2 apples. Let me know if I am off base with that. The good thing is I only bought 4 of them. Let me tell you they are really good.
Thanks all for your responses to my exercise thought. I may just take the advice and hold off until after this round. The thing is I don't want to be too skinny (that was funny) and have to start from scratch in the gym so thought it would be good to possibly do the light weight training. CB has the same thought with regard to muscle regeneration due to limited protein intake. I have decided and started last night to do push ups and crunches before going to bed and when I awake. I figure I can start at 25 reps for each and then increase from there. I will keep you posted on how it affects me. Myfattycakes has a great idea on the jumping rope or running and I will check with her to see how she feels.
My friend that started on Saturday lost 2.5lbs after her first VLCD day.
Marshall: I will shoot you an email this evening to discuss.
CB: thanks for checking on me and keeping me motivated. I will take your advice and take it easy. I do have the rest of my life to exercise while on P4.
B: Thanks for stopping in and checking on me. You are doing well so keep it up.

Start of R2P1: 1-05-08
Start Weight: 238.2
Today's Weight: 225.0
Overnight Loss: 1.4
Total Losses: -13.2
Thanks Biz and cb for checking in on me. This is why in this round I no longer worry about the gains because as Biz stated your body makes the automatic corrections. It is a good loss for the week and hope to keep it moving.
I was considering going back to the gym and wanted to get feedback on if this is a good idea or not. How will it affect the number on the scale as you increase muscle mass. You burn more calories with added muscle mass so would that be a positive since HCG provides all the needed calories to go through the day. The other concern is whether the amount of protein is enough to promote muscle repair after lifting. Please share and maybe Biz can add this to her FAQ list.
My fried has created her blog and I would ask you all to check in on her for me. Her address is http://myfattycakes.blogspot.com/ She has lost 5.8 in two days and is on the right track. My other friend is not doing a blog so I will try to share her progress with you all. She did gain 3.5 on P1 so we will see what happens after today's first VLCD day.

Whoa....where did that come from? I guess my theory on foods is wrong. Its funny how I always say I am not going to try to figure this out and each time something good or bad happens I try to figure it out. Well I have to not worry about it and accept it as maybe a set point that my body may be used to. No worries though.

Start of R2P1: 1-05-08

Today's Weight: 225.8
Overnight Loss: .8
Total Losses: -12.4
I had an interesting experience with the scale this morning. It's that fluctuation thing again and after all that I settled on this weight. We will see how it goes on tomorrow's weigh in.
I decided to eat tomatoes as my vegetable to see if the weight will revert back to the larger losses. I just did not feel all that great eating the cabbage so decided to give the tomato choice a shot. I will let you know if it makes a difference.
I brought another friend on board that started today so a total of 5 of us experiencing the HCG lifestyle. I will keep you posted on their progresses.

Overnight Loss: 2.2

Another success and so far so good.
I wonder if it makes a difference whether you eat the same foods for a period of time versus varying the meals. The reason I ask is I have been eating fish and a tomato for each meal and have had very good results. Today I decided on do chicken and curried cabbage. Today is also my skip day and so far so good. I am anxious to see what the result will be tomorrow and test my theory. lol.

Start of R2P1: 1-05-08
Start Weight: 238.2
Today's Weight: 228.8
Overnight Loss: 1.4
Total Losses: -9.4
Another successful loss.
I have my friend on board starting this morning. She was nervous to take the shot but now its smooth sailing. She has no hunger at all but I am encouraging her to load properly so she has no hunger during VLCD. There are still a couple friends who are considering starting but remain apprehensive. When the time is right I am sure they will be on board.
My friend and her brother finished their first half 0f the 40 days and you can surely tell they are dropping. Their pants are falling off and they may need to get some temporary pants until they hit their goal weight. Its going to be a great summer for us all.

Today's Weight: 230.2
Overnight Loss: 2.8
Total Losses: -8.0
Another good loss. I am now below LIW and enjoying the downward trend. I have promised my mother that when I come back to see her in March she will not know who is at her door. She was quite surprised when she saw me at Christmas. If I can repeat the previous results I will be right where I need to be to build up the muscle mass. My hope is that I wont need a quick follow up round to get rid of all the abnormal fat.
B and Biz, thanks for checking on me and keeping me motivated.
Not much else to really report so...

LAST DAY OF P3 AND 1st LOADING DAY
LIW Weight: 232
Today's Weight: 232
Gain / Loss: 0
Hello everyone and Happy New Year to you all.
It has been quite a while since I last posted but the holidays have kept me quite busy and since returning home I can now get back on task of posting and toasting you all.
A quick recap of P3:
I ate very well on P3 which included various non P3 foods. I was in Florida with my mother and cooked and baked daily for a week. Needless to say I had to sample my own foods which led to the consumption of many decadent "bad for you" foods. lol. The greatest part is when I weighed myself this morning I was at LIW. Its amazing that the most I gained was 2 lbs over the 3 weeks and now I am at LIW to start my second round which began this morning. Yeeeaahhhh for me.
The loading is difficult because I can only consume but so much food before I feel over full and uncomfortable. Thank God its just 2 days and then on to VLCD. I will be as, if not more, diligent in the second round and will try not to have the same expectations of my first round. I think taking it day by day is best and not really looking back to compare results should keep me motivated and on track.
I have to update you all on my two friends that started a few weeks ago. My friend lost 23 lbs so far and her brother, who is leaving me in the dust, lost 20lbs in the first week, 11 in the second and 8 in the third for a total of 39 in 3 weeks. He has become my motivation.
I will post again on Monday when I start VLCD.
